Scott Wasserman Stern has been doing origami since he was three years old. He has been an active member of the Origami Club of Pittsburgh and a regular attendee of OrigamiUSA's national convention in New York City. Scott lives in Pennsylvania and is currently a student at Yale.

Excellent clever and clear

This is the best origami book I have seen. From the well-written glossary of folding terms to the very simple progressive diagrams for each project to the truly fun projects---hands reaching out of a box to fold some origami, an origami flying pig, an origami skull... this book is extremely well done. We all need it in our libraries. Just reading the table of contents will inspire great library programs. It'll also make a perfect gift for older kids and teens who like to work independently and accomplish things. I am definitely giving it to a friend who has been sitting around with a broken leg.

This beautiful book is very well organized and accessible. Even if you are not a origami master, you will enjoy the descriptions of the unique and original designs, the techniques and the evolution of the author's talent.

Amazing

The book, which is quite beautiful in its layout and design, has what every origami lover is looking for. It has straight forward instructions and a fold guide in the beginning of the book for folks like myself who are too lazy to look up the different kinds of folds. This is Scott W. Stern's first book and I am excited to see what else this kid pumps out.
